Manifesto

The Ellipsis Foundation is the world’s first foundation dedicated entirely to building a new culture of remembrance.

We believe that remembering a person should not be defined only by loss. Memory can live on through architecture, nature, public spaces, and the stories we leave behind, remaining a meaningful part of life for future generations.

For centuries, nations, cities, and technologies have changed. Our relationship with remembrance has not. We believe it is time to begin a new chapter.

We create projects and support research that reimagine how society remembers people, experiences loss, and preserves legacy. We bring together experts from different fields, explore new ideas, and transform them into architecture, public spaces, and cultural initiatives.

Our goal is that, in the decades to come, millions of people around the world will experience loss differently and preserve the memory of their loved ones in new ways. That is the impact we strive to create.

We did not come to take our place among charitable organizations. We came to open an entirely new direction.

The names of those who first believe in The Ellipsis Foundation and help bring it to life will be permanently commemorated in the Foundation’s first architectural project. It is because of them that this story becomes possible.

Today, this story begins.

The Ellipsis Foundation

We don’t say goodbye… we say, “See you soon.”
